In the late 1990’s Mission To the World (MTW) rented a campground from the Cherokee Boys Club on the Qualla Boundary as a place to host visiting short term church teams who came to work on the homes of Cherokee tribal members. In 2013, Rev. Scott Hill and his wife, Ruth were called by God to join the MTW work in Cherokee. Seeing the need for a reformed church in the Cherokee community, Scott started Grace Community Church.
Grace Community Church has regular Sunday morning worship services at 11:00 AM and Wednesday evening Bible study at 7 pm at 320 Highway 441 North Whittier, NC 28789.
Grace Community Church is under the oversight of Highlands Presbytery of the PCA.
